It was another fun-filled morning in downtown Austin. We kicked off with Goldieblox building. I absolutely adore this stuff. I love how there's a story and there are multiple build possibilities in each kit as well as the freedom to build what you want with an accompanying narrative attached. And yes, even the BOYS liked it! I did offer a lego activity too just in case. :)
Next we built our dream vehicle using Play-Doh. I wish some of these inventions would get funded! It would make getting stuck in traffic way more fun...
During our rotations we explored more in Scratch. We added a little Tynker just to bring some variety to situation. During the CS Unplugged center we looked at Graph Paper Programming and the ever talented Jessica managed to bring real coding to an appropriate level for everyone! Dash and Dot were a hit once again and we started working on our maze.
At our Innovation Table we were stranded on a desert island and we had to decide to stay or go and build things that would help us survive either way.
With a pinch of GoNoodle and Odd Squad we had a packed and energetic morning.
Is it bedtime yet?!
